Plays the currently calculated sound.
The (play) function can be created using the following Lisp syntax:
(play)
The (play) function takes no additional arguments.
The (play) function is entirely optional. Although generally you will want to play the sound when it is finished calculating, you may want to write it to a file, instead, or playback the sound manually from the menu. When using Modalys in real-time contexts, you do not need to play the sound since new samples are constantly being calculated and output. Note that when (play) is inside a loop, only the (play) command in the last iteration of that loop will take effect.
There are no special options for this function.
