Convert to Note Sequence

Parameters

Input : a rhythmic sequence

Result

Rhythmic proportions are converted into a sequence with absolute durations.

Rhythmic Quantification

Parameters
  • Input : a sequence
  • Factors : tempo , meter and smallest rhythmic value
    Result

    The tempo and meter unit of the sequence determine the step of a grid. Notes are automatically quantized to fit this grid. Outputs a rhythmic sequence .

    Superposition

    Parameters
    • Input : a sequence
    • Factors : an offset value – delay – in ms.
      Procedure
      1. Drag a first sequence to the operator and a second sequence in the corresponding frame.

      2. Enter an offset value.

      Result

      The second sequence is superimposed to the first with a given offset.

      Concatenate

      Parameters
      • Input : chord , a sequence , a rhythmic sequence
        Procedure

        Drag a first object to the operator and a second object of the same type in the corresponding frame.

        Result

        The second object is merged after the first one into a single object.

        Repetition

        Parameters
        • Input : a sequence
        • Factor : an number of iterations
          Result

          The original sequence is repeated n times.

          Permutation of Chords by Duration

          Parameters
          • Input : a sequence used as harmonic material
          • an number of iterations
            Procedure

            Drag a rhythmic sequence to the Rhythmic Pattern frame.

            Result

            The chords material is repeated a number of times and mapped to the rhythmic pattern.

            Applying a Rhythm

            Parameters
            • Input : a rhythmic sequence , used as rhythmic material.
            • a number of iterations
              Procedure

              Drag a sequence to the Chords frame.

              Result

              The rhythm is repeated a number of times and attached to a circular repetition of the chords.

              Extract Dynamics

              Parameters
              • Input : a sequence , a rhythmic sequence
                Result

                Outputs an envelope corresponding to the input dynamics.

                The successive velocity values of the object are converted into y -points within a scale between 0 and 100.

                Apply Dynamic Envelope

                Entrée :
                • Input : a sequence , a rhythmic sequence
                • Factor : an envelope
                  Procedure

                  Drag an envelope to the Envelope frame.

                  Result

                  The y -points of the envelope are assigned to the successive velocity values of the object as a dynamic envelope.

                  (Y -points are not converted to the velocity scale.)
