Find Chord Inversions

Parameters
  • Input : a chord with a key signature
    Result

A sequence of all chord inversions.

    Create Harmonic Steps

    Parameters
    • Input : a sequence with a given key signature

    • Factors :

      • number of iterations of the sequence
      • transposition interval
      • number of additional octaves
      • harmonic sequence type : unitonal or real harmonic sequence
      • progression type : alternated inversions or repeated chord patterns

Harmonic steps example : original sequence
      Result

      A harmonic sequence

      Create Arpeggio

      Parameters

Input : a chord with a given key.

      Procedure
      1. Enter a global range in semitones.

      2. Assign a rhythmic value for the arpeggio.

      3. Enter a time signature and a number of measures .

      4. Specify the movement of the arpeggio – ascending, descending, regular or broken.

      5. Enter a percentage of random auxiliary and passing notes .

      Result

An arpeggio ( rhythmic sequence ).

      Find Canons

      Parameters
      • Input : a rhythmic sequence with a given key
      • Factor : an interval
        Procedure

Enter a maximum number of canons to search

Enter a list of intervals – 1 = unisson, 2 = second etc. Lists are written between parenthesis.

        Result

The resulting sequence is superimposed onto the initial sequence. Rests are inserted when necessary to produce the specified interval.
