Sonogram Analysis

There are two types of sonogram analysis. The FFT analysis, which yields the classical sonogram we generally refered to in this manual, and the reassigned FFT, which allows to increase the resolution of the sonogram, within a number of limits. This section describes the main differences between both methods. For detailed information about the FFT principles and parameters, as well as its representation, refer the following sections.
