Replicate in Time/Frequency

These two functions allow to duplicate various type of treatments in time or frequency in the Sonogram window. Note that even if Treatments/Create Tracks When Needed is selected, items will be created in the same track.

Tracks of the Processing Sequencer

Replicate in Time

This function applies to any items in the Sonogram or Waveform window : surfaces, BPFs and so on...

Access
  1. Select the item(s) you wish to duplicate

  2. Choose Edit/Replicate in Time

Dialogue Window

The dialogue window allows to choose

  • a number of iterations

  • a time interval before each iteration

Align to Markers

The Align to markers option allows to assign each item to a marker. This means that the time interval before the iteration and between several selected items will be ignored.

If the number of markers is inferior to the number of iterations, items will be superimposed on the last marker.

Items in the Waveform Window

If a treatment is located in the Waveform window, it will be duplicated in the Sonogram window only.

Replicate in Frequency

This function applies to surfaces in the Sonogram window such as surface filters or snippets.

Access
  1. Select the item(s) you wish to duplicate

  2. Choose Edit/Replicate in Frequency

Dialogue Window

The dialogue window allows to choose

  • a number of iterations

  • a shift factor in Hz, cents, or intervals – Custom menu

  • the direction of the duplication

  • a harmonic compensation

Custom Menu

The Custom menu allows to define the duplication according to an interval. Click on it to pick a value.

Harmonic Compensation

This option applies to any item : snippets, or filters. The frequency range of the duplicate will be modified according to the frequency shifting factor.

This option doesn't apply to snippets of time/frequency regions automatically : select the Transpose frequency mode in the Inspector window.

A snippet has been duplicated using the Harmonic Compensation.

  1. We applied the Frequency Shift mode to the snippet.

  2. We applied the Transposition mode to make the compensation effective.
